Letters to Eliza
To My Dearest Eliza,
I am not profound in words and I am often brief in speech. But let these images speak for me. As you get to know us throughout the years you will understand how this imagery expresses the story of our lives. These images do not show the exhilarating, extraordinary, or adventurous aspects of our lives, there is no polished filter to show the falsified glamour. Rather these images show the beautifully ordinary moments. Moments that have slipped away, moments that are unfolding, and moments that will continue to happen but with you in them. These raw moments are what make life ever so worth it. Do not let the deafening noise all around us distract you from this. The world will continue to accelerate faster as you grow, remember to slow down and enjoy the quietness and stillness there is to be had, in doing so you will see more of these moments fill our walls.
With deepest affection,
Dad
